On 16–17 December 2025, ImagineHealth supported the Embassy of the Russian Federation in the Kingdom of Thailand in organizing visits to two of Bangkok’s leading healthcare institutions: Bangkok Hospital Headquarters and MedPark Hospital.
The visiting delegation brought together representatives of the Russian Embassy and Pavlov First Saint Petersburg State Medical University, creating an opportunity for direct dialogue with Thai healthcare institutions around medical practice, international cooperation and potential future collaboration.
From Saint Petersburg to Bangkok
The delegation included Prof. Sergey A. Karpishchenko, MD, PhD, Vice-Rector for Foreign Affairs at Pavlov First Saint Petersburg State Medical University; Dr. Victoria Gavrilina, PhD, Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Medicine for International Students; and Mr. Alexander Sidorov, First Secretary of the Embassy of the Russian Federation in Thailand.
Henning Kalwa, Founder and CEO of ImagineHealth, joined the delegation, supporting the engagement and facilitating dialogue between the visiting representatives and the Thai institutions.
Visiting Bangkok Hospital Headquarters
At Bangkok Hospital Headquarters, the delegation was welcomed for discussions and an introduction to the hospital’s clinical environment. The visit provided an opportunity for representatives from Pavlov First Saint Petersburg State Medical University and the Russian Embassy to engage directly with their Thai counterparts and exchange perspectives on healthcare delivery and international medical cooperation.
Continuing the exchange at MedPark Hospital
The delegation subsequently visited MedPark Hospital, continuing the professional exchange with another major healthcare institution in Bangkok. Through discussions with hospital representatives and a closer look at the medical environment, the visitors gained additional insight into Thailand’s healthcare capabilities and the approaches being developed by its leading private hospitals.
