On 2 September 2026, ImagineHealth exhibited at BEING Thailand 2026 at Angsana Laguna Phuket, joining leaders from across hospitality, healthcare and wellness to explore the future of wellbeing in Thailand.
For ImagineHealth, the event was more than an opportunity to present our work. It was a chance to connect with decision-makers, exchange practical ideas and better understand how Phuket's distinctive hospitality and wellness landscape is evolving.
Some visitors to our booth already knew ImagineHealth. Others were discovering us for the first time. Both conversations reinforced the same point: Phuket has the ingredients to become one of Asia's most compelling destinations for medical wellness and longevity.
Bringing medical wellness into hospitality
At the event, we introduced ImagineHealth's business partnerships and discussed how hotels, resorts, clinics and wellness businesses can evaluate and implement longevity-focused solutions.
These can range from non-invasive technologies such as red light therapy to more advanced infrastructure such as hyperbaric oxygen chambers. Our role is not simply to introduce a device or provider. We help businesses understand what fits their concept, clientele and operating environment, then connect them with appropriate partners and implementation support.
This independent, provider-agnostic approach is especially relevant as the boundaries between hospitality, wellness and healthcare continue to move closer together. Guests increasingly expect more than a traditional spa menu. At the same time, businesses need to assess clinical relevance, operational requirements, guest experience and commercial viability before introducing a new solution.
The quality of the conversations at BEING reflected that shift. Rather than discussing wellness only as an amenity, many participants were considering how it could become a more meaningful and integrated part of the guest journey.
Phuket's collaborative advantage
What stood out most throughout the event was the collaborative spirit. Phuket's ecosystem feels different from Bangkok's, with hospitality, wellness and healthcare stakeholders working in close proximity and often serving the same international audience.
There is a shared understanding that strengthening Phuket's reputation as a trusted health and longevity destination benefits the wider ecosystem. That openness creates valuable opportunities for partnerships across resorts, medical providers, technology companies and specialist facilitators.
It is one reason we have started referring to this growing cluster as Phuket's "Longevity Valley." The name is informal, but it captures what we see developing: a concentration of ambitious providers, premium hospitality, international visitors and growing interest in healthier, longer lives.
Reconnecting with medical wellness partners
We used the Phuket visit to look beyond the exhibition floor and reconnect with friends in the local medical wellness community.
At VitalLife Scientific Wellness Center Phuket, we caught up on recent developments and discussed technologies, services and potential areas of collaboration. We also visited Layan Life by Anantara to learn more about its approach and explore how Phuket's high-end hospitality environment can support more integrated wellness experiences.
