Our partnership with a Germany-based international accreditation body makes Thailand medical travel better for everyone
As we’ve stated elsewhere on this website, ImagineHealth is on a mission to reinvent Thailand’s medical-tourism industry. That may sound grand, but it’s really quite simple: We just want to do things the right way.
Part of “doing things the right way” comes from within. We are led by Henning Kalwa, our founder and CEO, who is in the business of medical tourism to change the game — by ensuring that international patients are treated like valued customers throughout their entire journey, and that providers are positioned to deliver positive outcomes to those international patients.
Another part of reinventing medical travel in Thailand comes from without. We are always looking to gain knowledge and grow as we strive to make things better for both patients and providers — and one way to learn and grow is to engage in partnerships and ongoing education programs with other leading health-travel organizations, and that’s exactly what we’ve done.
ImagineHealth has entered into an exclusive partnership with Germany’s Temos International. They are a worldwide healthcare accreditation body that “supports the improvement and optimization of medical treatments and non-medical services in hospitals and clinics worldwide.”
As it turns out, “Temos” is an acronym for “Trust, Effective Medicine, Optimized Services,” which fits hand in glove with ImagineHealth’s guiding principle that “medical care is nothing without trust & understanding, empathy & expertise.”
The relationship between Temos and ImagineHealth is a two-way street. Their expertise in medical-facility evaluations will help us pair our customers (patients) with “best-fit” hospitals and clinics (providers) here in Thailand, and we will spearhead their growth initiative in Southeast Asia out of their new office in Bangkok.
According to Temos International’s CEO, Dr. Claudia Mika, “ImagineHealth will help us educate the Thai healthcare marketplace about our accreditation programs and how they will benefit not only the providers who earn our stamp of approval, but the patients they serve.”
That’s really what it’s all about. ImagineHealth and Temos share the same passion for quality and safety in international medical travel, and together we will ensure that Thailand’s providers have access to Temos’ accreditation audits.
